A Master's program in Alternative Mental Health Services is being developed as part of European American University. The program will entail course offerings addressing autism, extreme states of mind, traumatology, critical psychology, and Eastern approaches. The program is being led by Professor Dan L. PRINCE 104 THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY PROJECT FOR EXTREME STATES OF MIND (BIPOLAR, PSYCHOSES)

September 29 marks one year since the end of the Prince 104 project, however Dr. Dan L. Edmunds work with persons undergoing extreme states of mind continues. Familiar with the success of Dr. Loren Mosher's Soteria House Project and Dr. Ronald David Laing's therapeutic community at Kingsley Hall, Dr. Edmunds developed a project where individuals could reside nearby and receive holistic therapies, counseling, and a suppportive non-professional to listen and help. Dr. Edmunds discontinued the project because of the immense amount of time and coordination as well as lack of resources. However, he continues to see persons at the clinic in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania and utilizes drug free relational approaches.
